Earlier this month, more than 6,500 insurance professionals descended on San Diego to participate in the Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) Annual Marketplace.
…to design impactful claims management programs as a Vice President of Sales in Gallagher Bassett’s Carrier Practice. Chris began his insurance career in 2003 and since that time has helped lead the business development efforts for a national carrier, regional brokerage, and a national TPA prior to his role with Gallagher Bassett.
He was elected the global CPCU Society President in 2022 after serving as the President-Elect in 2021. He began a three-year term on the National CPCU Society’s Leadership Council in 2018 and joined the Executive Committee in 2019 after serving as the Philadelphia CPCU Society Chapter’s President in 2016 and 2017. He holds his CPCU, CIC, and ARM designations, completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Pennsylvania and earned his MBA through the Loyola University Maryland MBA Fellows program. Chris also completed The Institutes Executive Education program at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business in 2017. He is currently earning his master’s in insurance management at Columbia University.
Chris hosts the “IN-the-Know: The CPCU Society Unscripted” podcast where he interviews insurance professionals in episodes that debut biweekly over the last several years. He is also a frequently requested industry speaker at industry conferences on the topic of the future of risk and insurance.
