Sarah LaWall is Senior Business Development Manager for London Markets – North America.

Based in London, Sarah identifies and develops opportunities within the London insurance market for our Gallagher Bassett Carrier Practice and Specialty teams across North America. Sarah brings nearly 10 years of industry experience from a variety of roles including underwriter, marketing account manager, and sales executive. She has been with Gallagher Bassett since March 2022.

Sarah continues to be an advocate for the “next generation” in the insurance market. She is known for her subject matter expertise regarding talent attraction & retention, diversity & inclusion, claims management, and international strategies. While completing her MBA last year, her dissertation topic focused around bridging the talent gap in the insurance industry and analyzing the effect of diversity creating an inclusive work environment. Sarah gives back to the industry by mentoring Risk Management and Insurance students at her Alma Mater Appalachian State, as well as leading student roundtables for groups such as Middle Tennessee State and Appalachian during their visits to London. These efforts gained her a nomination as a ‘35 under 35’ Rising Leader for 2023.

By working in disciplines from underwriting to forensic engineering, Sarah understands how important resolving a claim is to help clients get back to what matters most.
