Amy O’Brien is Gallagher Bassett’s Vice President of Carrier Practice Sales in North America

…and brings with her over 25 years of experience working for Gallagher Bassett. Amy leads new business development for captives, programs, and alternative market claim outsourcing arrangements, and she serves as the sales liaison to the captive program manager, insureds, carrier, and other stakeholders.

As a member of the Captive Insurance Companies Association, Amy has served on the Programming Committee since 2018 and as an Amplify Women Committee Member since 2021. She is also on the Membership and Marketing Committee for the Vermont Captive Insurance Association. Amy has been on the Captive Review Power 50 from 2021-2024 and most recently was named one of Captive International’s Influential Women for 2024.
